iPadian MCP
Privacy policy

How iPadian MCP handles information.

This policy covers the iPadian MCP plugin and simulator at os.ipadian.net. It is separate from the paid iPadian desktop products.

When you create or revise an app

Your AI assistant sends the app’s identifier, name, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and selected preview settings to the iPadian MCP server. The server processes that request and returns the preview to the host. The current MCP implementation does not save a server-side app library or deliberately log app-code request bodies.

Local saving does not mean the code never leaves your device. Code used in an assistant preview passes through your assistant provider and the iPadian server. Requests to edit or personalize an app can also send its code and your instructions back to the conversation. Do not embed passwords, API keys, or sensitive personal information in app code.

What stays in your browser

When you choose Save locally or Add to Home Screen, the simulator stores app code and identifying metadata in browser storage (IndexedDB). Preferences may also be stored locally. Saved apps remain until you or your browser removes that storage. The host may partition storage, so another host, profile, or device may have a different library.

Inputs and progress inside generated apps are temporary. Generated previews run in a restricted iframe that blocks external network requests and persistent browser storage. Exported HTML is a separate file under your control and may behave differently when opened outside the simulator.

Service operation and hosting

Our hosting provider, Hostinger, processes connection information needed to serve the site, such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, and browser headers. Infrastructure and security logs may be retained under the hosting configuration and provider policies. The source code alone does not establish those providers’ log-retention periods; contact us for current details.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and address service problems. Contact us to request deletion of correspondence, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Other services

Your assistant provider handles conversations, accounts, and plugin interactions under its own privacy policy and account settings. For ChatGPT, see OpenAI’s privacy policy; for Claude, see Anthropic’s privacy policy. Hosting and email providers process information required to deliver this service. Opening an external service from a built-in app is subject to that service’s policies.

Your choices and rights

You can use previews without saving, export app code, and clear local site storage. We cannot recover a deleted local library. Deleting local data does not delete conversations in your assistant or support emails. Contact help@ipadian.net to ask about access, correction, deletion, objection, or other privacy rights that apply where you live. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

Changes

We will update this page when the plugin’s data handling changes. Check the date below for the latest version.
